The rule of this blog is that I will not post names without permission. If those who have been laid off at TXCN would like to have their names posted here, I'm willing to expand the purpose of this blog a little to cover our local Belo cousins.
To offer a voice and a forum and a source of information during layoffs and now buyouts at the Dallas Morning News.

Whenever this blog is active, the rules will not change: Personal attacks will not be posted or tolerated. Nobody's name will be listed as laid off without that person's permission. Anyone who wants to pass along information -- or plausible rumors -- please e-mail me at DMNcuts (at) gmail.com. Farewell messages ditto.
If anyone asks you if you run this blog, please answer "I am Spartacus" and ask why they want to know. For obvious reasons, anonymity is necessary.

I used to work at TXCN. If I had stayed, then the count would have probably been 12. This is so sad. I hope everyone finds new jobs soon. :(
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of TXCN, anyone know what is going on instead that building? For weeks now, people have been moving out furniture. Yard sale?
ReplyDeleteI've heard that they're moving people from other Belo properties into the space
ReplyDeleteGood. Belo should consolidate into unused space and find some savings that way, rather than cutting the workforce.
ReplyDeleteI think the BIM folks are moving out of Founders and into TXCN.
ReplyDeleteCan we post the names of those layed off at TXCN?
