The Department of Communication in the College of Arts & Letters at The University of Tampa is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure track position in Broadcast/Convergence Media to teach courses in the Communication and Journalism major(s) at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2012.
The ideal candidate will combine experience in professional studio television, including multi-camera and multi-platform work, with scholarship and production skills in broadcast journalism or entertainment television. Candidates are encouraged to discuss how
their scholarship and production experience relates to media studies courses within an interdisciplinary program rooted in the liberal arts.
Qualifications: Candidates with a Ph.D., experience in studio television production and a strong commitment to liberal arts teaching are invited to apply. Degree candidates may be considered provided they have degree in hand by August 15, 2012.

includes organization of articles and creative direction for each publication.

The University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism seeks a non-tenured faculty member, with relevant experience to teach courses in sports journalism that will address reporting and writing skills, ethics, legal issues, and the role of sports in society. Courses will emphasize a heavy writing component and beginning and advanced reporting techniques. Work with faculty members in the School to improve curriculum. Endeavor to bridge the School to media outlets and other departments at the university, as appropriate. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Significant combination of relevant education and experience may be considered, as appropriate. Demonstrated knowledge of issues affecting professional and amateur sports. Professional media background and demonstrated excellent writing and reporting skills. Demonstrated excellent communication skills. Extensive experience producing journalism content and the ability to work across media platforms. Preferred qualifications: A combination of a professional media background and some level of experience teaching. The ACEJMC-accredited School offers the B.J., M.A., and Ph.D. and is housed within a top-ranked College of Communication. Soon the School will move to its new home: The Belo Center for New Media, which will house a state of the art converged media newsroom.
The company I work for is in desperate need of a PHP programmer with experience in working with the Zend framework. Over the course of 4 weeks this summer, all but one member of the programming staff left for a new position and we've only managed to fill 2 of those positions over the last 2 months.

marketing communications area, the largest concentration in the school. We are looking for collegial candidates with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service for appointment beginning August 2012. We seek scholars committed to a comprehensive integrated communication curriculum (journalism, mass communications, speech communication), who can contribute to the school’s “common core” (writing, speaking, and visual competencies; theory, history, research, critical analysis, and law & ethics) at the undergraduate and graduate level. Specifically, we are seeking scholars who can bring expertise in advertising and branding (creative and/or account management), recent and successful advertising industry experience, and ability to teach quantitative research methods. the position (now called SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE) to be 75% time in sales and 25% in training and supervision of student sales.
