Can anybody sign onto the Belo extranet from home?
Several commenters cannot. Neither can I. As has been noted on this blog elsewhere, technology is not Belo's strong suit, so I'm not taking anything as an omen. I'm getting an error code that says:
extranet.belo.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate expired on 4/4/09 6:59 PM.
(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)
Looks like the tech champions at IBM missed a deadline. Imagine that.
If you're using Firefox, it won't work. If you use Explorer, it will give you the option to override the security-certificate issue. At least that's been my experience.
This may be due to the e-mail migration that is planned for tonight.
ReplyDeleteI just signed on and was able to gain access.
ReplyDeleteTry again, maybe?
I get the same message, but my browser allows me to override it and go to the site anyway. From there, I had no issues logging in.
ReplyDeleteThis message likely just means that Belo has not renewed with an Internet certification authority that the site is legit and safe.
I can.
ReplyDeleteI too can override it using Network Connect on a company Mac.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like PeopleSoft (employee self-service)is not working, so paystubs, performance reviews, etc., cannot be accessed.
