Layoffs in Houston today

Many of us have friends there so I'm posting here.

Layoffs have begun today at the Houston Chronicle. Incredibly, it will
take them two days to do it.

    Is it too late to suggest that DMN get off the iPhone App craze (because I won't buy it) and hit up/promote the Amazon Kindle?

    The DMN is working on both iPhone apps and a Kindle service. I hope they don't abandon either "craze."
